A FILM-MAKING course for young people is due to open at Pinewood Studios.
Creative Beginnings, hosted by Creative Media Skills and based at Pinewood Studios, is set to run on Saturdays from September 16. Open to children and teenagers aged six-16, it offers tuition in drama, film and television.
Classes are kept small, with a maximum of ten per class, to ensure each pupil gets a good deal of one-on-one tuition. Throughout the course, they will operate like a real film crew, planning, storyboarding, directing, and shooting their own film; which will get a private screening at a local cinema at the conclusion of the course.
Sessions last for three hours, with the subjects changing to develop a good range of skills.
