A THIRD man has been charged with the murder of a Sunday league footballer who was stabbed on his birthday.
Ismail 'Izzy' Mohammed, 24, died after being stabbed in Salt Hill Park, Slough on July 10.
Ricky Champion Musaba, 21, of Rolt Street, Lewisham, was charged on Wednesday with Mr Mohammed's murder and the attempted murder of another man who was seriously injured at the scene. He is due in Slough Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
Mr Mohammed played football for Slough and Burnham side, Real Milan, and had been out celebrating his 24th birthday when he was stabbed. He died weeks later on July 31.
Two men have already been charged with Mr Mohammed's murder.
Oladapo Obadare, 25 and Ryan Fuller-Bent, 20, both of no fixed address, were charged in September. Obadare faces an additional charge of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs. They both face charges of attempted murder in relation to the injured man.
