FIREARMS and drugs are believed to have been seized after police raided two homes as part of an anti-organised crime operation.
Warrants were executed simultaneously at a property in Eltham Avenue and one in Montague Road, both Slough on Thursday, November 30 at around 7am, Thames Valley Police (TVP) said today, Saturday.
Suspected firearms and class B drugs were seized in Eltham Avenue, and suspected class A drugs were seized in Montague Road.
Two men aged 19 and 22, both from Slough, were arrested in connection with the warrants, and have been released under investigation.
The warrants were carried out as part of TVP's ongoing Stronghold campaign, which aims to work in partnership to tackle serious and organised crime.
Investigating officer Det Con Graham Bowyer, based at Slough police station, said: “As a result of these warrants we have made two arrests and seized suspected firearms and drugs.
“We will always look to make arrests if we believe that people are in possession of drugs or weapons.
“Anyone wishing to report any such offences to us should call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101.”
