THIS is your last chance to give to the Observer’s Christmas toy appeal with just one more week to go.

As we come to next week’s final Friday, December 15, for donating first-hand gifts, generous Rotarians have given stacks of books to our appeal.

The Rotary Club of Windsor and Eton has helped the appeal for years and its generosity means youngsters in Slough, South Bucks, Windsor and Maidenhead will be able to benefit again this festive season.

Club spokesman Martyn Gorton said: “Windsor and Eton Rotary Club, Community and Vocational Committee is delighted to support the Observer Christmas Toy Appeal for the fifth successive year.

“The Club feels that it is a very worthy cause as local children are the recipients of all donations given by the public. We do hope that the Appeal will once again be a great success with support from individuals and local business.”

Asian Star FM at the Queensmere Observatory is supporting the appeal by asking its listeners to send in donations.

We are asking for donations of first-hand toys and gifts for children and young people up to 19, which we will then distribute to charities and children’s services, including domestic violence charity, Dash, and children’s social services in the Royal Borough, Slough and South Bucks.

Gifts do not have to be wrapped-up, but if they are, please indicate which age the toy is for.You can donate to any of the following drop-off points:
