POLICE have issued an E-fit image of a man they want to speak to after an attempted robbery.

A woman was walking past the parade of shops in Cippenham Lane on the corner of Stoney Meade, Slough when she noticed a man sitting on the bench. He wolf whistled at her as she passed and as she approached the main road to cross it, she felt a tug at her bag.

It took place on Friday, November 10 at around 4.50pm, Thames Valley Police said this week.

The man is white, in his fifties, and around 5ft9ins tall with a slim build. He has grey/silver hair and was wearing stone wash denim jeans and a tan bomber jacket.

Investigating officer, PC Charlotte Rolfe based at Slough police station, said: “I would like to speak to the person depicted in the E-Fit image as we believe he may have vital information in relation to the incident.

“If you recognise the person in the image, please contact the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting reference number 43170335295.”
