The following cases are from Berkshire' Magistrates Court between January 29 and February 2.

WILLIAM BENJAMIN GLADSTONE-NEW, 26, of Riversdell Close, Chertsey, pleaded guilty to speeding on a street in Windsor. He was fined £135, and made to pay a victim surcharge of £30. He was given 3 points on his licence.

ANDREW EDWARD BLOOMER, 31, of Tewkesbury Drive, Dudley, pleaded guilty to threatening and abusive behaviour in Slough. He was given a 10 week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and made to pay costs of £300, and a victim surcharge of £115.

LEON LORENZO WILLOCK , 51, of Bramber Court, Cippenham, pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour. He was given a 10 week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, due to his use of a weapon and that he had frightened elderly people. He was fined £200, and made to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £300 costs.

STEVEN OLLINGTON, 49, of Park Street, Slough, pleaded guilty to making persistent calls to a person with the intent of causing them anxiety or annoyance, and damaging a telephone belonging to Thames Valley Police. He was placed under a community order in which he must attend regular appointments with a police officer, and made to pay costs of £200, and £85 victim surcharge, and £50 compensation.

MOUAD ACHEGHAF, 39, of Upton Park, Slough, pleaded not guilty to assaulting a woman and threatening behaviour, but was found guilty of both. He was placed under a community order in which he must attend regular appointments with a police officer, and ordered to complete 40 hours of unpaid work. He was also made to pay costs of £300, and a £85 victim surcharge.

DIONNE WALKER, 40, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin in Maidenhead. She was fined £50, and her heroin was confiscated. In a separate case, she also pleaded guilty to three counts of begging, and was fined £50 for each count, for a total of £150, along with a £30 victim surcharge.

ADENIKE ADEDORO, 48, of Hogarth Close, Slough, pleaded guilty to refusing to identify a driver believed to be guilty of an offence, after being ordered to do so by the police. He was fined £300, in addition to £100 costs and a £30 victim surcharge. He was given six points on his licence.

LAURA PATRICIA MOODY, 26, of Norwood Gardens, Hayes, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly. She also pleaded not guilty to resisting a police officer, but was found guilty.She was jailed for two weeks, which was extended to 18 weeks due to a suspended sentence she received from assaulting another police officer.She was also made to pay a victim surcharge of £115.

HENRY MYLES ROBERTS, 18, of Bell Close, Maidenehead, pleaded guilty to three counts of driving under the influence of drugs. He also plead guilty to possession of etizolam, cannabis, and LSD. He was given an eight-week sentence, suspended for 18 months, due to repeat offending. He was also made to pay costs of £85.In a separate case, he plead guilty to driving while under the influence of ecstasy, and driving while under the influence of ketamine.He was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months. He was also made to pay a £115 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. His drivers licence was suspended for 18 months.

KELLY ROUGHTON, 31, of Rixman Close, Maidenhead, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer. He was placed under a community order to attend an alcohol dependency treatment course, and was made to pay a £85 victim surcharge and £50 costs. HEATHER BRYANT, of Whyteladyes Lane, Maidenhead, was proved in her absence to have failed to ensure her child attended school. She was fined £660, in addition to £382 costs and a £66 victim surcharge.

FRANKO AHANON, 20, of Odencroft Road, Slough, was proved in his absence to have boarded a train without paying for a ticket. He was fined £220, in addition to £160 costs, a £30 victim surcharge, and £3.80 compensation.

ABDI KHANI AHMED, 21, of Farnburn Avenue, Slough, as proved in his absence to have boarded a train without paying for a ticket.He was fined £220, in addition to £160 costs, a £30 victim surcharge, and £2.70 compensation.
