Fire crews from across the area fought a fire at the Grundon waste recycling plant in Lakeside Road, Colnbrook Friday night.
The call came at 10.40pm and crews from Langley, Slough, Windsor, Pangbourne, Crowthorne and Maidenhead Fire stations were sent to the scene, together with the Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station.
They found a large fire involving approximately 60 tonnes of waste.
Firefighters worked with site staff to excavate the waste, before using five jets to extinguish the fire. They remained on scene to ensure the fire was fully extinguished before handing over to the site’s owners.
Firefighters were on the scene for around seven hours.
