A brutal attack on a 55-year-old woman who objected to a man's abusive behaviour on a bus is being treated as racially aggravated.

The incident happened at about about 8.15pm on Saturday, May 12 on the 81 bus as it passed by Colnbrook.

The victim of the attack commented on the man's abusive behaviour and was punched in the face, causing swelling to her left eye.

Police now have cctv images of a man they believe may have information that could help their investigation.

Investigating officer PC Matt Lynch from Slough Police Station said: "During this incident a man was being racially abusive towards other passengers and the victim suffered facial injuries which required hospital treatment and was later released.

"I am appealing for the man in these images to come forward, or if anybody knows who the man is, to contact 101 quoting reference number 43180143518."
