A charity football tournament in memory of a young Chelsea fan could have raised as much as £3,000 towards a new children's hospice.
The tournament was organised in memory of Chris Seymour who died after a fall from a motorway bridge aged 21.
The tournament was arranged by his friend George Torpey and took place at the Powerleague in Ragstone Road, Slough - the third time Mr Torpey has organised such an event.
This time 14 teams took part and 200 people came along to support the event.
A delighted Mr Torpey said: "For the first time my team the Seymour Warriors won the tournament which made it even better."
Despite its sad origins the event was a happy one with awards given out, music, food and a raffle.
Money raised is still being counted but it is all for the Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service and the new children's hospice the charity is opening in Maidenhead.
