Singing in the rain and learning to dance like they do in the Bollywood films is a fine way to spend a Bank Holiday Monday - especially when it could save a life.
Antony and Emma-Louise Holeksa run their Learn to Dance school at the Cherry Orchard Pavilion in Britwell Road Pavilion, Burnham.
They came up with the idea of having a day of dance workshops on Monday with everyone taking part contributing to the cost of a defibrillator, that would serve the pavilion and the sports fields outside.
Defibrillators can save the life of someone suffering a heart attack and can increasingly be found on High Streets and in public recreation areas.
Mrs Holeksa said: "We lost someone close to us a few years ago and we are raising the money in their memory.
"Burnham Parish Council has offered to pay for the installation of the defibrillator and we need to raise £1,400.
"We managed £1,300 but we are sure we will make up the rest with a raffle."
During the day visitors learned to dance Bollywood style during one workshop and 'brollywood' style with a Singin' in the Rain session.
There were also Latin American sessions and American smooth ones harking back to Fred and Ginger.
