The Royal Windsor Triathlon is returning for its 27th year.

It is back on Sunday, June 17. Over 3,000 runners are expected to take part in the challenging course.

A number of different distances are on offer, including the Macmillan Fundraising Entry (any distance) to an Olympic-level Triathlon that demands a 1.5km swim, a 40km bike ride, and a 10km run.

Team relay events at sprint or Olympic distances are also available.

First-time runners or beginners can receive helpful advice or guidance for their training as part of the MacMillan Beginners Wave at www.humanrace.co.uk/article/human-race-beginners-guide-triathlon/ A number of other events will be held throughout the day, including talks and question and answer sessions with ambassadors Stuart Hayes and Emma Pallent. Participation in the event includes electronic chip timing, and your results texted to you as you cross the finish line, along with a medal designed by Windsor College student Teihya-Mae Osborne.
