FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a burning motorcycle and a trapped kitten today (Tuesday).
Firefighters from Slough Fire Station were called out at around 11am today to a burning motorcycle in Roebuck Green, Slough. The team worked for about 25 minutes to extinguish the motorcycle, which was unattended when it caught on fire. The precise cause of the fire is currently unknown.
Firefighters also received a call that morning to a trapped kitten in a roof void space in Cotswold Close, Slough, which they attended at 4.30pm. Firefighters believed the kitten had been born in the roof, as there was a small hole in the roof space, but the kitten was unable to leave.
The team carefully extracted the kitten after a few minutes, departing the area after about half an hour.
