FLY-TIPPERS have blocked off an entire road with a mound of soil - for the 27th time.
The mound of soil and rubbish was discovered blocking off Black Park Road, near Wexham, on Tuesday morning.
A spokeswoman for Transport for Buckinghamshire said: "To date, there have been 27 incidents of the same material being disposed of in the middle of the road. Operational staff are currently working around the clock to dispose of the material as quickly and as safely as possible.
"The most recent incident on Black Park Road was brought to our attention on Tuesday (14th) morning and staff have spent the majority of today (Wednesday) clearing the road. We have also teamed up with some of our subcontractors to help remove the waste."
Buckinghamshire Count Council urged anyone who witnesses the dumping, or who has any information about the culprits, to get in touch with them on http://www.buckscc.gov.uk/fly.
Deputy cabinet member for transportation, Cllr Paul Irwin, said “It is very frustrating that we are having to spend money that we should be spending on repairing potholes on cleaning up illegal fly-tipping. I would encourage anybody who has any information to get in touch with the enforcement team”
