A SELECTION of paintings by an acclaimed artist will be exhibited in a gallery from this weekend.
Over 20 original paintings and limited edition prints by Stuart McAlpine Miller will be on display at Castle Fine Art, King Edward's Street, Windsor, from Saturday to September 9.
Born in Scotland, Mr Miller, graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1990, and later became the appointed Artist in Residence at the Savoy Hotel, London. He creates the illusion of transparencies in his work, which sees cartoon characters and slogans overlap to become a blur of different objects.
Daniel Keogh, gallery manager at Castle Fine Art, Windsor, said: “Stuart has built a strong collector base in the UK over the years as demand for his work continues to grow, so we are very excited to welcome visitors to the gallery to learn about his collections and appreciate the artwork in person.”
