Enthusiastic gardeners will be out and about again on Tuesday, September 18 competing at a chrysanthemum, dahlia and vegetable show at Gardener’s Hall, St Leonard’s Road, Windsor.
As well as the plants there will also be categories for nine different sorts of vegetable on displayed.
It will be open to the public to come and view the blooms from 8pm after members spend two hours setting it up - and the Royal Borough’s mayor Cllr Paul Lion has agreed to judge.
It is only last month that the Windsor and Slough Chrysanthemum, Fuchsia and Pelargonium Society held its Fuchsia and Pelargonium show.
Members had had to battle the hot, dry summer weather that followed the late snow damaging many blooms. But they still came though.
The organisers are hoping that contributors to the forthcoming evening show will do the same.
The plant section of the competition has classes for novices and experienced growers.
