HUNDREDS of people came to enjoy some late summer sunshine as Sunningdale held its Party in the Park on Sunday.
Members of the community came out in force to enjoy the festivities at Holy Trinity CofE Primary School, take part in activities and competitions, and browse the dozens of stalls and unique items on offer.
Vicar Jon Hutchinson got in on the action by agreeing to be dunked, ending up soaked on several occasions.
Christine Gadd, who helped to organise the event, said: "The Savoy Singers and Hope Trust Choir & Spotlights Theatre Group entertained us magnificently with excerpts from their forthcoming shows. The scouts did a roaring trade with their second hand bike sale, and what bargains there were.
"The generosity of so many in our community, our sponsors Lynwood Village, donations and wonderful raffle prizes from Sunningdale Golf Club, Coworth Park, Ascot Race Course, Waitrose, Broomhall Hutt, John Jenkins Hairdressers, Hillier Garden Centre, Sytner and many others. Thank you from the church family."
