Detectives investigating the death of a man in Slough on Friday have confirmed that they are treating the incident as murder.

A member of the public came across the man's body in an alleyway off Cumberland Avenue, Manor Park shortly after 1am.

The man, believed to be of Asian origin and in his late teens or early 20s, was found with multiple injuries. Detectives believe that he was attacked with at least two bladed weapons, which have not yet been recovered.

Supt Rob Mason, leading the investigation, said: "This was a particularly nasty incident, whereby the victim sustained very serious injuries, and I'm appealing for anyone with information to come forward immediately.

"We are carrying out a number of enquiries to try and establish the victim's identity, as well as catch the person or people responsible and their motive. No arrests have been made at this time."

Anyone with information should contact Supt Mason of the Major Crime Unit on 08458 505 505, quoting URN 60 3/4/09.

I think this is absolutely disgusting..No one deserves to go through what this poor man went through. The culprits maybe leading a normal life at the moment, but I hope the Police catch them soon. A life sentence in jail is not enough, it should be life for a life. If only the death penalty was still in operation in this Country.Gruesome acts like this one, make you think twice about bringing children into this world. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time and may God rest his soul.

I was his brother. He was a care free and young fun lad that never got himself into trouble - such a clean bloke. He wanted to get married and support his Mum. He will be missed by many of his family and friends. I still cant belive he has gone. But the question is why is a person driven to kill another? WHY?
