THE strongest girl in Slough will front a national campaign to outmuscle male university students in a series of arm wrestling contests.
Joanne Poole, 17, from Britwell, has been selected to head up the Pringles 'The Day You Were Beaten By A Girl' tour after being crowned Briatin's top female arm wrestler and the pretty teenager hopes to have the flex appeal to overpower the biggest biceps in England, Scotland and Ireland.
The former Beechwood student, who is known to her rivals as 'the hitwoman', has been besieged with TV offers after finishing third in the recent world championships in Italy and is currently in talks with BBC bosses over a potential documentary covering her training regime leading up to next years competition in Las Vegas.
The burly borough resident insists that she has got her feet firmly on the ground, however, and under the watchful eye of her dad Richard, himself a former British champ, she has set her sights on earning a lucrative living out of the up and coming sport.
She said: "Everything has just really taken off since I won bronze at the world champs, I'll be flying off to Dublin soon to start the campaign which involve me travelling around UK night clubs with the Pringles crew and taking on uni guys, I'm pretty confident I'll just have to watch out for any big rugby players."
The tour, which begins on October 12, is being used to promote Pringles Extreme crisps and the muscle-bound youngster will be joined by Emerdale star Roxanne Pallett, who will lead the campaign, a female footballer and a contortionist.
The confident strong woman, who boasts impressive 15 inch biceps, added: "I am really looking forward travelling around with the team for two weeks, although I won't be letting anything distract me from my training.
"My dad has always been a massive influence on my career and I started arm wrestling when I was seven when I went to watch him compete. I train twice a day and work out at the Forge gym in Farnham Road, my friends have always been really supportive and I am determined to win gold in Las Vegas next year."
