AN overheated electrical switch board caused a fire at a hotel last night (Tuesday).
Fire crews rushed to the Holiday Inn in Church Street, Chalvey at 7.20pm.
Robert Rands, of Slough Fire Station, said: "In the lift motor room there is an electrical switch board that overheated. It generated so much heat that is set fire to the notice board. We had to go in to cut all the power off and extinguish it."
Crews were at the scene for two hours.
