SHOW OF STRENGTH: Dragan Radovic helps promote Nuyuu gym with David Arnot of Nuyuu

BULGING biceps were on display on the High Street as a world renowned weightlifter challenged Slough's strongest men to slay the Dragan.

Dragan Radovic, who once made a living challenging muscle bound beefcakes to endurance competitions on Venice Beach in LA, swapped California sunshine for Slough drizzle as he arrived in the borough to promote the Nuyuu fitness centre in Windsor Road.

The 61-year-old Serbian fitness fanatic was approached by his son, and Nuyuu manager, Rajko, to drum up business for the new gym by impressing soppers with his incredible stamina which helps him perform more than 1,000 reps with two 16kg dumbbells.

Mr Radovic said: "I wanted to show the people of Slough that they can achieve a better standard of fitness and strength by attempting quite simple exercises. I would encourage anyone whether they be self-conscious or even a little over weight to come along and give the gym a try."
