A WOMAN was 'touched inappropriately' and robbed as she walked near a park late at night.
The woman in her late teens was walking near Salt Hill Park on Bath Road, Slough at about 10.45pm on Friday last week when she was grabbed by a man who pushed her into some bushes and stole her handbag. He also touched her inappropriately.
She was left shaken by the incident and has been unable to provide a description of the man.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
Det Con Stuart Bale said: "We cannot rule out that there was a sexual motive as the offender touched the woman inappropriately. We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the park at the time and may have witnessed the incident or any suspicious behaviour."
Anyone with information can call DC Bale of the Priority Crime Team at Slough on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

I hope they find the scum bag....I would of thought by now, that people would know never to walk along Salt Hill when it is dark! Not that people should change their pattern of routine etc around criminals, BUT Salt Hill is notorious.. There should definately be better policing given it's reputation!

Yes, Anon it is notorious and has been so since late 70s'. It was always a place to avoid and be wary of. My nan would warn me, along with my anunts and uncles to always avoid it with unpleasant tales to tell.
