Police release CCTV images after New Years Day robbery
CCTV images in connection with an on-board New Years Day train robbery have been released by the British Transport Police.
The images have been released as part of an ongoing investigation after a 19-year-old man was threatened and robbed by three men at around 1.40am when the Maidenhead to Paddington train stopped at Slough station.
The gang boarded the train at Maidenhead station before threatening to stab and assault the victim.
One of the thugs then rifled through his pockets and stole his mobile phone and £5 in cash.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Chris Church, said: "We have conducted local enquiries into the incident and have now isolated three images of people we believe could help progress the investigation.
"I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or recognises the men pictured in the CCTV images to contact us."
The three men made their escape at Slough station and their victim was unhurt, but shaken by the incident.
