Irish pub celebrates St Patrick's Day

AN IRISH pub will be coloured in green, white and gold decorations to celebrate St Patrick's Day.

The Herschel Arms will welcome putters with a free shot of Sambuca and tempt them with traditional Irish food including bacon and cabbage and Irish stew Today (Wednesday).

The pub in Park Street, Slough will also have a free juke box for visitors to party throughout the day.

Landlord Tom King said: "Even though I don't live in Ireland anymore, for me it is still so important to celebrate our heritage, our food and our generosity."

The day celebrates St Patrick who is the patron saint of Ireland.
