A PARA Olympian swimmer will be among those cheering on 349 people as they take part in runs for Sport Relief.

Slough based Jeanette Chippington, who is one of the longest standing Para Olympians, taking part in the last five Olympic Games, and the Mayor of Slough Joginder Bal will be encouraging all the runners as they raise money for the charity on Sunday at Upton Court Park.

The first race starts at 11am for people running one mile, three-milers will start at 11.30am and people running six miles will start at 1pm.

Steve Wicks, Active Slough manager, said: "Come down and cheer on the local residents who are raising money for this fantastic cause. We will have donation buckets and welcome anyone who would like to take part on the day."
