THREE teenagers have been given Anti-Social Behavior Orders (ASBOs) after an application by the Thames Valley Police and their partners in Slough.

Jamie Betts, Cheyenne Cripps and Ryan Gumbs received the orders last month, which ban them from specific parts of Slough and are designed to reduce alarm, distress and unrest.

The ASBO was issued to Gumbs, 14, on May 13 at East Berkshire Magistrates Court. He must now abide by the following conditions: * He must not enter the borough of Slough unless he is visiting three specific addresses, accompanied by named individuals; * Not use threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards any person not of the same household within England or Wales; * Not associate with or be in the company of 12 named individuals unless supervised; * Not board any train in England or Wales unless accompanied; and * Not touch or enter any unattended vehicle without express permission of the owner.

The order will be in force until May 12, 2012.

Gumbs' residential address cannot be named due to judicial reporting restrictions.

Sgt Anthony Welch, for Britwell and Haymill neighbourhood, said: "Since August 2009, Gumbs has been involved in a number of incidents which have affected the lives of many residents and shopkeepers in Britwell. "We applied for this order to protect all the communities in Slough from a young man whose behaviour has been spiralling out of control.

"The fact Gumbs has now been excluded from the whole borough means he can be arrested on sight if he steps anywhere within the borough's boundaries." Both Cripps, 15, of Farnham Road, and Betts, 17, of Long Furlong Drive, are forbidden to enter Britwell and other named areas in Slough unless it is for specific activities.

The ASBO on Cripps will remain in place until May 12, 2012, while Betts must abide by the conditions of his ASBO until May 16, 2012.
