Thirteen arrested after Slough man shot
THIRTEEN teenagers have been arrested after a man from Slough was shot while standing at a bus stop in High Wycombe.
The 20-year-old victim was shot in the lower leg at around 6pm on Saturday (7/1). He was taken to a hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Police believe the incident may be linked to disorder which took place at the junction of Gayhurst Road and Baring Road in the Micklefield area of the town at about 5pm the same day.
A 13-year-old boy, three 14-year-old boys, three 15-year-old boys, a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old boy, all from the Slough area, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. They have all been released on bail until February 23.
A 12-year-old boy also from the Slough area was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and has been released on bail until February 23.
A 13-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, both from High Wycombe, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and violent disorder. They have both been released on bail until February 24.
A 16-year-old girl from High Wycombe was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and making threats to kill and remains in police custody.
