Man rushed to hospital after three car crash
A MAN was rushed to hospital after he was catapulted forward from his rear seat in a three car collision at 2.30pm today.
Firefighters had to cut the man out of the car after he was complaining of chest pains following the crash on the junction of Farnham Road and Whitby Road. No one else was injured.
Crew from Slough and Windsor used an electric saw and hydraulic cutters to get the man, described as in his twenties, out of the vehicle.
Robbie Rands, red watch crew manager at Slough, said: "A male passenger in the back of one of the vehicles, who didn't have his seat belt on, was thrown forward.
"He had medical issues with his chest so we removed the roof and safely got him into an ambulance."
He was then rushed to hospital.
The fire crew were at the incident for an hour.
