A shopworker was left with head and chest injuries after being attacked by armed robbers in Farnham Royal.
The 45-year-old man refused to cooperate with two men, believed to be carrying handguns, as they stole alcohol from the Londis store on Farnham Road at 3pm on Sunday.
One of the robbers used his handgun to punch the man in the head and then dragged him behind the counter while his accomplice filled up a bag with bottles.
Police are seeking any possible witnesses who may have seen the incident, which happened in broad daylight.
Det Sgt Pete Collett, from Burnham CID, said: "This was obviously a very frightening incident for the members of staff involved.
One of them was attacked and suffered a cut to his chest and bruising and abrasions to the back of his head.
"I'm keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at around 3pm yesterday and noticed two men acting suspiciously."
The attackers were described as being one white man and one black man. Both men have large builds and were wearing hoods and scarves over their faces.
Anyone with any information about this incident should contact Det Sgt Collett via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
