Football star kicks off campaign
YOUNG footballers showed racism the red card as they were joined on the pitch by a professional.
Osei Sankofa, Borehamwood defender, visited Iver Heath Junior School to put budding footballers through their paces and to discuss the Kick Racism Out Of Football campaign.
The defender spoke to Year 5 pupils at the school in St Margaret's Close last month about the causes and consequences of racism before challenging their football skills in workshops and football drills.
Marcus Holloway, football coach, said: "Hopefully our children now have a clearer understanding of the causes and consequences of racism and have had a great day in the process through workshops and football drills."
