Building damaged in fire

A FIREFIGHTER has urged people to keep piles of rubbish and combustibles away from buildings.
Two appliances from Slough attended a pile of rubbish on fire near buildings in Woodland Avenue, Slough, yesterday evening at around 9.30pm, and left the scene after an hour.
The fire caused damage to the exterior of a building but crew manager Andrew Forster said: "We got there just in the nick of time, it could have been a lot worse."
