A WOMAN was sexually assaulted in a busy shopping centre.

The 18-year-old woman was approached and touched inappropriately by a man in Queensmere Observatory shopping centre in Slough at around 3.10pm on Sunday last week (11).

The man was described as Asian, in his fifties, 5ft 8ins, of a heavy or fat build, and he was wearing a grey t-shirt and beige jacket.

Thames Valley Police has released an E-fit of a man it would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Investigating officer PC Jagdip Sekhon, of Local CID in Slough, said: "The victim was not hurt in the incident but was left upset and distressed at how such a thing could happen in a public place.

"I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who recognises the man in the E-fit image."

Anyone with information should call PC Sekhon at Local CID in Slough on 101, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
