PLANS for a new car rental store on the site of a controversial nightclub have been submitted to the council.
Enterprise Rent-a-Car is seeking permission to change the use of Pandora’s nightclub in Uxbridge Road, George Green, to vehicle hire with canopied wash bay, additional parking spaces and alterations to site layout.
The application, submitted to South Bucks District Council (SBDC) on Wednesday last week, includes the installation of a canopy to the rear of the site to be used for car valeting, and a new front door and access ramp.
SBDC refused an application to change the use of the site from a restaurant to a sexual entertainment venue in November 2011, and an appeal was thrown out by the High Court in March last year.
A decision is expected by Wednesday, May 28.
