NEW owners intend to 'revamp’ a pub and bring in further investment after taking control.
Spirit Pub Company took over the Fox and Pheasant pub in Gerrards Cross Road, Stoke Poges on Thursday last week, and more investment is due to come into the pub in October to freshen up its appearance.
Previous owners The Orchid Group sold off the site, and Spirit will now run it, and intends to keep it as a carvery and pub.
Tom Koasinski, the holding manager, said: “We are definitely going to remain as a pub and a carvery. That will definitely happen and we are also looking at a big investment into the revamp to make it better and nicer.” Spirit Pub Company operates other brands, including Chef & Brewer, Wacky Warehouse and Fayre & Square.
