A MAN has been rebailed in relation to a hit and run incident.

The 24-year-old from Slough was arrested on July 31 in relation to the incident in which a cyclist was knocked down after colliding with a blue Volkswagen Golf in Langley Park Road, Iver on June 14.

The vehicle left the scene after the accident, in which the 34-year-old cyclist from London sustained injuries and was treated at Wexham Park Hospital.

The man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, being the driver of a vehicle which failed to stop after a road accident, being the driver of a vehicle involved in a road accident who failed to report that accident, using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance and fraud by false representation The man answered bail on September 29, which was extended until November 14.
