PLANS have been submitted for the creation of an outdoor play area and new play equipment at a school.
Jill Watson, headteacher at Lent Rise Combined School in Coulson Way, Burnham, submitted plans to South Bucks District Council on Tuesday last week (14/10) for the new area in an unused part of the school grounds.
The play area includes a jungle play den, a storyteller chair and four nature seats.
Pre-application advice from a planning officer stated that she did not believe planning permission was required but an application was submitted as the play equipment would need to be fixed for safety reasons, which might require planning permission.
A decision is due on Tuesday, December 9.
