A man has been the victim of knife attack as two men went through his pockets and stole his money.

The victim, who is in his forties, heard footsteps behind him as he passed the Londis shop in Earls Lane, Slough, at about 5:40am on Monday, 2.

He was knocked to ground and pinned down by one of the offenders, while the other offender went through his pockets.

The victim was then attacked with what is believed to be a knife before the two men ran off.

He was treated at Wexham Park Host for grazes, bruises and a small cut to his chest but has since been discharged.

The first offender is black, about 5ft 10ins and slim. He was wearing a black baseball cap, dark red jumper and black jeans.

The second offender is black, about 5ft 10ins, with short dark hair and slim.

He was wearing a dark blue bodywarmer and dark blue tracksuit bottoms, which had white stripes down the side.

Sergeant Steve Madoc-Jones, of Slough local CID said: “Thames Valley Police is carrying out additional patrols in the area to reassure the public.

“If anyone has any information about this incident, please contact us via 101.” Anyone with information about this incident should contact investigating officer PC Kirstine Emmer, of Slough police station, via the 24-hour enquiry line 101.
