UP TO 8,000 people are expected to take part in the colourful Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan procession through Slough on Sunday.
The annual tradition celebrating the holiest day in the Sikh calendar – the creation of the Khalsa – is a fabulous feast of free food, spiritual music and martial arts displays.
The procession will start at Gurdwara Sri Singh Sabha, in Sheehy Way, at 11am taking in The Frith, Wexham Road, Shaggy Calf Lane and Stoke Poges Lane before arriving at Ramgharia Gurdwara in Woodland Avenue at around 4pm.
