THE beauty of front garden arrangements was celebrated at an awards ceremony.
Slough in Bloom held its 22nd awards day at Shiloh Pentecostal Church, in Pitts Road, Slough, on Saturday, with the mayor of Slough, Cllr Mohammed Rasib, in attendance.
Slough in Bloom was set up to celebrate natural beauty to front gardens in all types of properties.
There were seven categories, which included best home front garden, best school front garden and best public house front garden.
The overall winner was Salt Hill Care Centre, in in Bath Road.
Margaret Innis, chairwoman of Slough in Bloom, said: “The day went off really well, and it was good to see everyone and enjoy a nice day.
“It was great to have the mayor there too, who gave his time up to speak to everyone and congratulate them.
“There were fewer entries for the competition this year, compared to last, but I put that down to the weather because it’s been quite difficult this year to grow.”
