Beautiful music and a hall packed with people from all walks of life summed up Sunday's thanksgiving event by the New Dimension Kingdom Fellowship.

The music was played and sung by the I-worship Band, bringing everyone to their feet either dancing or swinging from side to side with the beats.

Guests included the Mayor of Slough Cllr Arvind Dhaliwal who called for unity among religious groups in the town.

Fiona Mactaggart, MP for Slough, also called for politicians and religious groups to work together.

A message of unity was echoed by the representatives from Slough Thames Valley Police. PC Ranjiot Benning and her colleague PC Tom Ward.

They spent some time enlightening the representative community on how to combat burglaries and how to stay safe.

Doctor Andrew Chikwanha - the senior pastor and founder of the Fellowship said: "This day is very special for us as we show the whole world that it is possible for politicians, church leaders and professionals to work together. I thank our community leaders for their effort to come and gather here with us. It is very special to us."

A panel discussion saw the audience question the Mayor, the MP , the Police force and the Pastors. It was all rounded off by an emotional send off of a young lady, Memory Nyashanu ( a member of the New Dimension Kingdom Fellowship) who is relocating to Australia.

The event was held at Arbour Vale School in Farnham Road.
