THE met office has issued weather warnings to the United Kingdom, with the country facing a possibility of strong winds and snow this week.

Berkshire will be particularly affected on Thursday, January 12 with rain moving eastwards that could turn into snow.

There is a small chance of snow settling with disruption to road, rail and air services as well as interruptions to power supplies and other utilities. Associated heavy rain and strong winds may prove additional hazards.
