A triathlon with a difference will give people the chance to have fun and raise money for their favourite charities this summer.

Windsor Wacky Races will take place at the famous Olympic venue Dorney Lake in Court Lane on Sunday, July 23 from 1pm.

The aim is to raise money for local charities such as the Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service and Windsor's Thames Hospice.

The event will consist of teams of four people competing in three races: a 1,500 metre pram/cart race, a 2,000 metre child’s scooter race relay and 250 metre paddling on an inflatable across the lake.

Estate agents, pubs, sports clubs are all invited to compete against one another.

There will be prizes.

There is a £100 admission fee for each team of four people and each team is expected to raise a minimum of £400.
