A BIKER who was seriously injured in a crash on Saturday is now in a stable condition, police have said.

The man, 41, from Slough, was riding his grey Suzuki motorcycle when it was in collision with a silver Mercedes C320 on the A332 Sheet Street Road, near Windsor Great Park.

The crash happened at around 12.40pm and the man was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in a serious condition.

Thames Valley Police said on Thursday that he remained at the hospital in Oxford but was now stable.

The driver of the Mercedes was not injured.

The main road through the Great Park was closed for several hours whilst emergency services attended the scene.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, including a second motorcyclist who initially stopped at the scene to help. It is believed he may have witnessed the collision and might able to assist with inquiries.
