Worshippers from Eton, Eton Wick and Dorney made their own special contribution to the most solemn day of the year on Good Friday when they staged their own Walk of Hope across the parish.
The walk began at Eton’s St John the Evangelist Church, High Street with the cross being born at the front of the procession and carried along Eton Wick Road until the procession reached St John the Baptist Church in Eton Wick.
Following a service there the procession continued to Dorney where the much prized 12th century St James the Less church - which adjoins the Tudor mansion Dorney Court -hosted a second service.
