Firefighters from Langley spent two hours overnight battling a suspicious blaze that destroyed 14 cars at a storage site in Ford Lane, Iver.

They were called to the site at 1.40am and spent two hours battling flames that had engulfed the vehicles.

Police also attended the scene and are investigating the incident as a possible arson.

Firefighters used two hose reels and six breathing apparatus as they fought the flames - at one point having to source water from a nearby lake.

A nearby building contained cylinders was briefly threatened but the crew wered able to prevent the fire reaching it.
