The event is again aimed at men over 50 - free plate of food for the first 30 to book, after that £5 a plate.

There will be a cash bar in the spacious beer garden. You can book by email mensmatterswindsor50@gmail.com or 07843 554734.

Men's Matters is a charity whose aim is to help older men achieve a better quality of life through friendship and social activities aimed at promoting healthy living.

It formally launched as charity last week in Slough at the offices of the Radian housing association in Common Road in the presence of council leader Sohail Munawar.

It was announced that the legendary sports journalist and chat show host Sir Michael Parkinson had agreed to be its patron.
