There is a new face in Colnbrook Village this week - as 34-year-old Jay Yadapalli opens a new Nisa Local Store at Park Street.

He will opening on the site of the former Post Office which is now based at Budgens in Bridge Street .

Mr Yadapalli will be helped by his wife Usha, 31.

The couple have two children - Jay, three and Pardhiv, three months.

Mr Yadapalli has been in business since 2001, already running a successful store in Cranfield, Bedfordshire with his business partner.

He has already made changes to the old store in Colnbrook prior to this week's opening.

He said: "I need the village's support. We run promotions regularly and are committed to provide better customer service.

"I do apologise for closing the business for the last six weeks."

Chairman of Colnbrook Parish Council Cllr Scott Bryant said: "We welcome new businesses into the village as it is good to have some competition and wish Mr Yadapalli all the best."
