OWNERS of the three-Michelin-starred Waterside Inn in Bray are planning to open a new restaurant in Taplow.
Michel and Alain Roux will open their restaurant in the Taplow Riverside development, on the banks of the Jubilee River and the Thames.
The development will include 139 luxury homes alongside the new restaurant, the most expensive of which are priced at over £2million.
Dubbed the ‘Roux at Skindles’, it will be host to a more informal menu than the Michelin-starred Waterside Inn in Bray. It will be managed by Alain Roux, son of Michel Roux Snr.
The riverside location was a major reason for its selection. Mr Roux is reported as saying: “It will be totally different to our other establishments. It has the best situation on the river, will overlook a beautiful bridge and have a lovely terrace. Everything must be the best...it needs to have the right vibe.” The restaurant is scheduled to open in August, 2018.
