What better place to enjoy a spot of poetry than a park.
Salt Hill Park in Slough was the venue when the charity Aik Saath held its second annual Poetry in the Park event.
More than 100 people gathered on Friday, September 1 in the skateboard area of the park to see poets from all over Slough perform.
One of the stand out performers on the night was Theophina Gabriel, 20, who spoke about her experiences s as a young academic black woman attending Oxford University.
The Empoword Poetry group has been running three years and meets on the first Saturday of every month at the YES Shop.
