TWO men have appeared in court charged with possessing imitation firearms in relation to an incident in Slough on Friday, September 15.
Jamie Cassell, 27, of Wantage Road, Reading, pleaded not guilty at Slough Magistrates' Court on Monday to one charge of possessing an imitation firearm - a starting pistol - with intent to cause fear of violence.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on Monday, October 16.
Ryan Taylor, 19, of Mill Street, Slough, pleaded guilty to charges of possessing an imitation firearm and possessing a modified imitation firearm.
He was given a conditional discharge for the second offence but remanded on conditional bail to Reading Crown Court on October 16 for sentence on the first.
The charges relate to an incident on Friday in Stoke Road, Slough, where gunshots were heard and police closed off the area.
