Domestic abuse survivors need all the help and support they can get.
So the ladies of Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead Soroptimists have been busy filling bags with much needed items to be given to new arrivals at their local women's refuge, run by DASH (Domestic Abuse Stops Here).
The Soroptimists are professional women who support good causes and the bags containing practical things such as lip-gloss, wet wipes, sewing kits, shampoo, conditioner, pens and of course chocolates will help bring a bit of much needed Christmas cheer to woman escaping violent situations at home.
